New Employee Initial Setup

Someone from the new employee's department (usually the office manager or supervisor, but it can be anyone) should fill out the new hire ticket before the person starts working. Note that IT does not get notified that a new employee is starting unless the department tells them. We would ideally need at least 1 week prior notice if IT equipments are required for the new staff, as we may not have these items in stock, and will need to order it and may delay getting it ready if we are notified at the last moment.

Ticket to fill out:

  • Account and Exchange Email setup: Request a new account
  • Do ensure the full name, designation, community name, and manager name etc boxes are filled in the ticket.
  • Phone: To request phone setup, please please mention that in the above ticket.
  • New computer: To request a purchase of a new computer or computer components , mention the same in the above ticket.
  • Software: To request licenses for specific software, please mention in the ticket.
  • Office move: To request to have computer equipment moved to another office: Please create a separate ticket for the same highlighting the request

    New Employees Set up, Kristen Hunter, she will be taking over Ila (RSM) Laptop and Phone, as well will need access to Reception computer as well.

    Request an email address for Tanya Smith, Recreation Ambassador and Tour Host. Also Login information for Recreation computer.
