Note: This process is only for staff who has been allocated a corporate cell phone.

Please use the above document to update email password on an Android phone. This process needs to be done after the computer login password has been changed/updated.

The purpose of this setup guide is to assist you with changing of microsoft exchange email password in an Android Mobile phone. Completion of activities in this document will require approximately10 min

a.Instructions

Before you start the setup process, you will need the following,

• Change Password in Domain from a computer at a site or using Webmail.
• Internet access in the Mobile device.
• The user’s username/Password.

• Make sure to follow the document in the exact same order of execution.

c.Update Email Password in Phone

• Click the Apps icon from the homescreen window. Click on the Settings Gear Icon.

• If Settings is displayed in List View mode, select Accounts under “User and Backup”, or if settings is displayed in tab view mode, Select accounts from General tab

• Once accounts is clicked, you need to select “Microsoft exchange activesync” as the account type to proceed. In Accounts section, you should see your email address or CDLMail. Click on Settings Option.

• Clicking on settings option, will show the screen below. Click on the concerned account. Either email address or CDLMail. This should open up the settings window for the account. Click on “More Settings".

• Clicking on “More Settings” will expand the window. You will find “Exchange Server Settings”. Click on it, to proceed. Change the password in the window that comes up.

Everything is now complete! Hit the Home button to close out of all your settings screens. It will take a bit of time for email to be forwarded to your phone so wait a minute or so for the first to arrive. Press your email icon to access your email accounts.
